In 1990, a group of 5 women at Potomac United Methodist Church founded the first PUMC Strawberry Festival.  They set out to create an event to bring the community together and raise funds for worthy organizations.  What they created was an event filled with legandary strawberry desserts, a silent auction with exciting and unique expereinces, hand painted jean jackets (it was 1990 after all!), kids games, a bake sale  and “attic treasures”. Over the past two and a half decades, the event has become steadfast tradition in the Potomac community, has supported countless organizations with financial contributions and draws in a crowd of over 1,000 people from DC, Maryland and Virginia each year.

Come join us for the best Strawberry Shortcake in town!!   Silent auction, local artists and vendors, children's games and activities, bake sale, attic treasures and "almost new clothing", toys and sports equipment, and much more!

Vendor Information: Please contact Christy Howard, howards1999@yahoo.com. We seek a wide range of vendors and categories, which gives interest to our Potomac Community members who attend each year.
