United Methodist Men
Who We Are
A Christian fellowship of men who meet monthly for breakfast at 8:00 a.m on the second Sunday of each month to share our talents and blessings to support the mission of the Potomac United Methodist Church and Christ's church throughout the world.

Our 2005-2006 Committments
- Support, both financially and with our talents, Calvary Casa del Pueblo Methodist Church, an inner city church. The church is in dire need of support to maintain its physical plant both as a viable place of worship and as a community resource for youth.
- Participate in and provide financial support for the Rebuilding Together program.
Stewardship
- Fulfill the second year of our three year $15,000 committment to the PUMC building fund.
- Support the UMW's Strawberry Festival (assistance in setup/takedown and cleanup).
- Mission work to help "BIKES FOR THE WORLD" www.bikesfortheworld.org
Christian Fellowship
- Hold monthly breakfast meetings at 8:00 a.m.in the parish hall on the second Sunday of each month.
- Initiate monthly dinner meetings, in nearby restaurants as a part of a major membership campaign to be conducted in 2004.
- Continue our sponsorship of the UMM Annual Golf Outing.
Fund Raising
- Provide a food stand (hot dogs, barbecue, chips and soft drinks) at the UMW's Strawberry Festival.
- Sponsor the PUMC Super Bowl Chili Supper.
