COMPUTERIZING THE CHURCH OFFICE

In the mid 1980s, Al Ault suggested to Rev. Amos that the church office be equipped with computers. Using a price estimate of $15,000, the Finance Committee approved the purchase of the equipment. Al, with the help of the late Chester (Chet) Slama, a computer expert, purchased the equipment and delivered it to the church office. Chet did the installation and also worked with the church office staff as needed to help them in putting the new equipment to work.
